Your IP address is logged with every web site you visit, it's how the site and your browser communicate and nothing to be concerned about.
Basically, (other than by law enforcement) the only information that might be gained from your IP is who your ISP might be.
On the other hand, it's very easy for the general public to obtain your name and address from your landline (or VOIP) phone number and in some cases your mobile.
