Spotting scope stand plans

#1 Postby glock40sw » Sun Dec 20, 2020 8:22 pm

G'day.
I'm wondering if anyone has plans for building your own Spotting scope stand.
I am getting back into Fullbore after a 25 Year absence.
I used the have a stand with pointed legs you stood on to imbed into the mound.

Thnks.
Regards, Trevor.

I'm one of the few F classers who still use a spotting scope, but I have moved to a Collings made one which someone else mentioned. They are available from NSWRA store. I cant remember the price but was low enough that you wouldn't bother making one yourself and it had all the right features and adjustments. With some F classers no longer using spotting scopes while shooting, you will likely pick up spotting scopes and stands on the second hand market.
