Service Rifle Targets
Both Service Rifle (SSRs Chapter 16) and PSR (SSRs Chapter 24) mention Targets Type A, B, D, and Figures 11, 12, 13 and 14. I can't find any more information than that in the SSRs? Can anyone point to the document that these rules refer to?

Re: Service Rifle Targets
Alan, these refer to NATO standard targets
NATO 14 is 11"x7"
NATO 11
NATO 12
Not a good look for a target rifle club

Re: Service Rifle Targets
Hmmm. If they are the ones referred to, its odd that the SSRs aren't more clear about it.
And yes, politically incorrect in the extreme for a civilian organisation.

The TRA banned these targets on Campbell Town range because of negative public sentiment

Nowra Rifle Club banned these following the Port Arthur incident. also to avoid negative public sentiment.
The NSW Firearms Registry does not approve of them.
