And it was shot on paper targets with competitors pulling frames down, seems almost strange to do this now, as all the local shooting is done on ET.

I've watched a few highlight videos on this - they can really send their targets up and down quickly for score - provided you've got good pit service you could be launching a round every 5 seconds or so.

Why I refuse to shoot big matches on e targets
Berger SWN is a higher reach than US nationals!
FO two to a target will score for F/TR and then change after two shooters
Internal comp on mark and score- often targets don’t stop moving!
Going down then reverse doing up again!
Guys have their own ropes to loop onto targets to pull down!
100 target range
In normal times they went to online registration and it sold out in 37 minutes 400 total cap!
Fantastic comp and great people
Started going there after e targets into here
Plus you spend two days on 20 shot comps at 1000 yards
The real deal - not 10 bloody shots at 1000 at the end of a Queens!
Come mid pack there and be happy!
And get to talk to great people in the target pits half the day
Spent our shoot in 2015 with Bryan Litz!

Hi Shane.
Great to here from someone who has been there and has positive feed back. I was wondering what the ropes were for hanging off some of the competitors.

Hope to see you at Bendigo for some paper target shooting in big matches.
Scotty
