National Queens Results

#1 Postby AlanF » Thu Jun 23, 2005 9:42 pm

Just the Presidents completed so far :

Congrats to John Oddy in F-Std, and Bill Hallam in F-Open. F-Std was quite close, but Bill was well ahead in Open. He managed a possible 100 at 300yds.

Top 3 in each are in our Results pages.

hi allan,
these results are great, but this is one place where an equipment lis would be interisting. the other would be in a statistical form, as results start to add up. not meaning to sound critical in any way of your results presentation. just that it would make it even more interesting.
(only thing is how can it be done?)
regards,

U could probably do that thru MS Excel and do a stats analysis of performance against the variables u want.

Bruce,

The main problem with this one (i.e. this meeting) is that I don't have any way of asking someone to collect the information. Any ideas anyone?

Click Here for National Queens Day 1. Looks like Bill Hallam and Rodney Prayle had possibles at 300. To get the 300 score, you need to subtract the other 3 scores from the daily agg (not sure why - it was the same last year).

hello all,
congrats to all who are doing well.
love the a, b, cgrade nomencliture.
when the tables are turned, (less fullbore shooters than fclass) we will be able to have F>OPEN, F<STANDARD, & s,f, & i classes.
but being a numbers game, the best i class can expect will be to be allowed to shoot anyway, because there won't be too many of them when the fullbore target is reduced to thesize we decide it should be.
regards,

Bill Hallam held off a slow starting and fast finishing Matt Paroz, and John Oddy finally broke clear from Rodney Prayle. Check out the ozfclass.com results page or for comprehensive coverage, the

Congrats to the winners at the National Queens. Can anyone who was there give us more information about equipment used, what the weather did etc. From the look of the scores, the weather was patchy? Or did some shooters change rifles :?: .

Thanks Matt. And good on you for being gracious in defeat.

I guess one of the good things about long range shooting is that changing weather adds that element of luck, and on any day, it gives the rest of us a chance of mixing it with the front-runners 8) .

The numbers at Queens shoots are getting alarmingly low. I think we need to start a wide-ranging campaign to improve the situation. I hope this forum can help. If we start talking about the next few Queens shoots now, and who intends going to what, it could prompt a few more people to go.

Alan
