F-Class National Record Scores

#1 Postby IanP » Tue Apr 23, 2013 1:57 pm

This will become a permanent "Sticky" for national record scores and any discussion on the subject is welcome here.

For those that dont know we have a Australian National Records website here http://aufclassrecords.com/

Record scores have never been collected nationally before and state competitions and their scores were only known locally, if at all. We now have national records being claimed and statistics recorded.

If you shoot a record score within the rules, (listed at website) I encourage you to claim the record! These records will cut across the state borders and recognise F-Class competitors as one unified group.

I would like any comments on the following...

1. I am thinking along with calibre there should be the projectile listed as well.

2. Scores of 60.10 for 10 shot details will eventually emerge for all ranges. Should we keep all the 60.10 scores displayed on the website as they are added?

Your comments please!

Congrats to Richie Neil who claimed a F-Standard record score of 60.10 for 300 yards shot at Lang Lang OPM back in 2011.

Nice to get a F-Standard record claimed as we dont have too many registered as yet.

60.10

Yes Ian, I think all 60.10 scores should be kept on display as these scores are very hard to obtain.

The first official "F" class long range team shoot took place today at Coonabarabran. This was 16 shots at 1100 yards no sighters. SA won from Vic on a count back. (equal scores) Our NSW open guys weren't here yet, but we fielded a "scratch team" to make the numbers up for an official match.

6shooter, always try Google search for basic info like that or anything else as you generally get a pretty good answer to your question. I just used Google and found this: http://www.usftrclass.com/2012/01/f-tr- ... formation/

Its a lot like our domestic F-Standard but its shot off a bipod and is shot world wide under ICFRA rules. Look at the headings on this forum and you will find one for F T/R. Seek and you shall find!

If your next question is what is ICFRA you can always Google it http://www.google.com.au/ or look here: http://www.icfra.com/

Now if you want to claim a record score, please be my guest as that is what this Sticky Thread is supposed to be about. This thread is about communicating to all the latest record scores that have been shot.

Congrats to David McNamara for a swag of new national and state records, also a new 15 shot record of 90.13 at 600 yards.

Look here http://aufclassrecords.com/?page_id=153

Your new National record of 538.50, (possible 540.90) I'm sure will stand for some time!

Congratulation to Cameron McEwan on his new National F-Open record score of 60.10 at 800 yards!

The records are really starting to mount for the F-Open competitors and a little more slowly for the F-Standard class. Come on you F-S shooters claim the high scores you set in competition and set a benchmark for the sport to follow!

Congrats to Paul Brown who has just successfully claimed two new records in F-Open. He has shot a 60.10 at 500 yards and went on to claim a 20 shot record with a fantastic 120.19 using his very accurate 6BR.

Well done Paul! http://aufclassrecords.com/?page_id=16

Congrats to Jason Mayers on successfully claiming 2 new national records that he shot recently in the NRAA Nationals. Jason shot a superb 60.6 at 900 yards and a 58.3 at 1000 yards.

Jason has the honor of being the first F T/R shooter to claim a national record and I hope this kick starts other F T/R shooters to follow on with additional records.

Scroll down to view his records here: http://aufclassrecords.com/?page_id=134

Congrats to Josh Reid who has just successfully claimed the new F-Standard national record for 15 shots at 500 yards with a high score of 90.10. He recently shot this score in the Darling Downs OPM as a F-Standard (B) I think he is looking at moving to (A) very soon
