NRAI F Class Emerald & Ireland Matches

#1 Postby Southcape » Sun Feb 16, 2014 5:24 pm

The 2014 NRAI F-Class Emerald & Ireland Long Range
Challenge International Matches.

Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June 2014.

For more details go to:

http://www.nrai.ie

I am strongly considering shooting this match in 2015. This is not a team match, is is an individual.
Anyone interested in shooting the Ireland matches in 2015 let me know.

Just bumping this.

I have a 4 man FTR team heading to Ireland in June next year.
I require one more shooter.

This is not a NRA team, but we will join up for the team matches over there.

PM me if interested.

Introducing my next team.

This one is another world first, as this team combines shooters from three countries.
I like doing things the hard way.

Southern Hemisphere International Rifle Team (SHIRT)

Captain : Linda Shehan - Australia
Manager/ shooter: Mias Nieuwoudt - South Africa
Register Keeper: Simone Nieuwoudt - South Africa

Coach: Tim Stuart - UK (South African born)

Shooters in alphabetical order:

Ray Hurley - Australia
Mike Samuels - Australia
Henk Venter - South Africa

This team will be completing at Bisley UK against 6x UK teams, before departing for the Emerald Match in Ireland.

We will have a FB page up and running early next year, for those interesting in following the team.

The weekend team practice sessions will surely take some organising. :D

Good luck to the team and make sure you post pictures and updates here for us non-facebook people.

A challenge that's for sure.
Thankfully we have a lot of past team experience on our side, and a team that is excelling at bonding prior to the match.
We have had plenty of skype sessions, phone calls, emails, FB banter that has cut the bonding time required when we arrive and meet face to face.

A week on Bisley before we depart will shape the team for our main objective. Whiskey Tour in Ireland!

oh...opps!...

Gold in Ireland!

Well we have finished at Bisley where we were made very welcome. We finished up in second place, beaten by the GB "B" Team.

Today we start the long range matches at Midlands Ireland

2x2x 15 @ 1100
2x2x15 @ 1200

Still waiting to hear all the news, gossip, stories etc. Surely someone on the team can take on the media relations role. :o
