I went to the Toowoomba Prize Shoot and was fortunate enough to win the Open F Class.
The conditions were possibly the worst I have shot in (25yrs) and this was also the opinion of Rob Rush who won A Grade Fullbore with 147 ex 150.
This was my first go at the Championship Target so I was really pleased.

Lynn, I normally take a pic of the results board at each shoot, but this one I missed. I will try and get all the scores and post. These are the ones I can remember:
Six Open F shooters
1st stage 500yds winner : Kelvin Bell, Brisbane, 93
2nd stage 500yds winner: Peter Hayden, NSW, 92
3rd stage 500yds winner: Cameron McEwan, Dalby, 95 (only score above 90)

1st Agg. Cameron McEwan 277 ex 300......6.5-284
2nd Agg. Peter Hayden ???...................260 Rem
3rd Agg. Kelvin Bell ???...................6.5-284

As I said before the conditions were bad to say the least, very strong wind gusts and very cold.
I love the Championship target, at 500 anyway. With the gear we can use in Open, the bar has to be set high.

Thanks for the results Cameron

Sounds rather like the same conditions we had at Kapunda, which allowed my son Michael (243 AI) to outshoot me at 800 yds, alas a standard 223 does have some limitations.
