NorthArm opm 2015 24 th and 25 th of October yeh!!!
Yippy , it's time to get severely beaten up by the meanest 600 yd range in the country ! Don't know why I love this place but I do ! It's like nailing your hand with a hammer and enjoying it ! If you are interstate (bindi 2) . Do yourself a favour and book a plane ticket for this brilliant prize meet . Come early and holiday at lovely Coolum and join the rest of us in bamboozling wind calls .
Ps who's going ?

Come on plumbs7 it not that bad.... well maybe a little bit.
It's looking like it's going to be another great weekend up here on the sunny coast. The range is looking pretty damn good at the moment and we've got the go ahead for another target. It's will be ready to go in the event that we have another great turn out like last year. The flyer is up on the QRA website for everyones perusal.
Looking forward to see everyone there again.

The Mrs is in the process of put a list together of accomadation around the area. I'll try and get it up as soon as possible. And don't forget we've got free camping and caravan spots available with meals available from Saturday lunch.

The Mrs hasn't had a chance to anything with an accommodation list yet, she's been knee deep in study. And I don't have anywhere near the skills to be able to do anything about it either. But if you just Google accommodation sunshine coast, heaps of options will appear in front of you. If you find something around the Nambour, Yandina, Coolum Cooroy area you'll be within 15 - 20 min from the range. The Maroochydore or Noosa areas are probably another 10 min to your travel depending on traffic. Or you've got up the hill at Maplton, Montville areas , which are really nice this time of year, could take 30 - 40 min depending on where you end up.

Two weeks to go. We're getting rid of all the shitty weather now so it can be a great weekend.

Hi Scott
Looking forward to the Prize Meet after having a run on the weekend down there. It gave me the chance to remember the horror of North Arm......no really was good to see the range is looking a picture.
See ya soon.

Andy, It was good to see you on Saturday. Always enjoy shooting with you. They were apparently easy but actually really tricky conditions.
Next Saturday is the last shoot before the PM. We're shooting a 500y club comp. I'd like to invite anyone who's able to join us for a trial run before the PM. Nothing like a bit of familiarisation before and event.
North Arms not that far from Brisbane.

As Denis said, it's always a pleasure to have you, even if you didn't bring any of your cooking with you. Hopefully you can make it down this weekend as well. And throw a few of the other boys in as well.

Hi Andrew , looking forward to catching up with you and old friends . But this time I'll have to not gasbag too much like last year . Which I think didn't help me with my first day meltdown ! NorthArm demands respect !
What are you shooting , standard or open ?
Regards Graham.

Hey Graham
Yeah, not sure just yet what I will be shooting. Panda is getting long in the tooth for Standard and needs a new Bart - once Craig gets it in. Had the Creedmoor tuned right up for anything out to 600 and have been toying with the idea of bringing that along. Denis wants me to unleash the Savage 284 and I might indulge him this weekend as I'm down that way again this week for work.
So at the moment I'm not sure.
More than likely end up with the Panda on board for the run as a last hoorah before the Tru Flite gets taken out. I've measured throat erosion to be 15 thou in just out 12 months and 2500 rounds. So started playing with some HBC Dyers on the weekend as they seat out further a bit further - showed some promise. Although was able to hold a fairly tidy waterline at North Arm at the 500 on Saturday. Again confusion reigns supreme.
At any rate I'm looking forward to the Meet and catching up with a few of the shooters around the place.
Cheers
Andrew
PS - Sorry Scott but the kitchen's closed for reno's........

It wouldn't be the same if we didn't see Graham wandering around " gasbaging" to everyone. And as far as north arm demanding respect goes, we all know that it's going to play tricks on us all, so just trust the gifts you were given and buckle up for the ride.
