Re: Muckadilla 2016
A 7 point win in a grade is something you don't see very often.
Nice shooting to Graham. You'd have to be happy with how the new rifle is coming along.

Thanks Scott! To have Mark worried is saying a fair bit ! Was level with him after Day 2 600, just crashed on the 700 . I'm no wild dog ! He is just pure class ! I did loose about 5 points to vertical with my shoulder coming over the top! Still have to fix that ! Not sure how yet ! But the gun near achieved 3 possibles but the nut behind the butt let the gun down and my front rest isn't up to standard of open!

You know who's bedazzle ! Hi Michele!
Mark at the office ! I had a great time with him as we camped next to eachother !
We even had the attack of the tumble weeds at the end of the 800yds. The wind turn near down the range at Gail force and blew tumble weeds up and over the mound and the shooters and they were as big as arm chairs !!

Noooo! It's fiiiine ! Only driven to church on Sundays and owned by a little old lady! Lol!
Tod for you in b grade you'll see ur scores really improve and maybe even into A Grade ! But to go up against the country's best or we may even say the worlds best shooters in open its holding me back especially in the x count area !
But for you it will be like going from black and white Tele to colour tv! I just need blue ray! Lol! By the way jasymay says it will be a little longer as in August. Very important with round for ends of ur stock to have a torque plate or u will not get the most out ur shade tree rest. Hope u can use it a prize meet before u get it Tod! All best the best mate
Ps . My pb of 60.8 was shot of that rest . That PB Still stands !

Yes , she is a big girl; baldy , middle age and was sporting a "Marty" lucky moustache , at the time of the comp!
Mark used a rubbered Saum and was also practicing safe shooting! Julie her Faithfull shehane , me of course , 7-08ai ( accuracy seemed to get better as we went back or I just found some mojo!also rubbered up... U know safe shooting too!), Beth who shot very well . We duelled all the way to the last 900 for 3 Rd place! I think it's either a 260 rem or 6.5 lap.
Knudsens were dasher and 284 . Not sure of the rest !
At the 800 yds that Gail came through and I was pooping myself and Mark got a possible in good conditions earlier in that 800 detail and the wind man dealt me a Gail force warning!
First sighter was a 6 , yeh . Second was a 5 . So the first time in 5 years I took the sighters fearing a 40! But it wasn't that bad . Wish I could have cut them now!
Mark Called me a Pussy!
Great fun , enjoyed it all , gun is on fire ! Thanks Wdrc for the event !

Re: Muckadilla 2016
What a great event, you're all a very social bunch both at the range and in the pub
Thanks to WDRA and the hard working guys manning the targets!
Got my ass kicked, but learned more from that than anything, will be back next year for sure.
cheers,
Gerard.
PS.. Im guessing there are not too many prize shoots where not only do you get shooting experience, but also get to try your hand as bar tender! lol.
Sadly through the 'actual' barman was reluctant to sign a 'has bar experience' reference for me afterward
