ps I believe that was Mike W and Greg W coaching - Laz and Richard on one of the LUM teams (results not up yet.)

We are even stronger with Waites and Steve at the front and Richard steering from behind.....

More team results:

The Australian F-Open team finished 8th, but only 4 points from the winners, so a good solid practice for the worlds =D> .

A great outing by both LUM and International teams. Steve and Richard worked well to be only 1 point behind our Open boys in the international team.

Greg and I steared the international team to a win, which was a real buzz. Great bunch of shooters, and great backup from Adam on plotter and Rod and Marty.

PS: Greg must be slowing up a bit  as I spent some time keeping an eye on things while he finished off. To be fair, he was coaching shooters using bipods!

Alan,
I can't make "head nor tails" of how they have their results posted???

In that link they have Jeff Eppleston listed as FO??? He is FTR.

I must be thick, cos trying to sort through their results, I can't figure out who has won what??

Someone please help me. ](*,) ](*,)

I agree its all a bit of a mystery... maybe someone over in Canada who is not flat out reloading and shooting could get time to translate ? If not, we understand !

Graham,

We may need a team member to chime in to get a full explanation, but it looks to me like the "International Teams" consists of 8 man teams comprising 4 each from FO and FF respectively.

On the other hand the "LUM" teams are 4 man teams with separate FO and FF competitions.

Whatever the case, I would expect our teams would have been treating today mainly as practice for the World Championship Teams events next week. I noticed that in F-Open several of our best team shooters didn't shoot today (e.g. Rod, Marty).

Yep, I'm sure our guys/gals are concentrating on the main event and I wish them all the best.
I wouldn't ask any of them to take the time out to explain the Canadian "results system" but.....

I have our local statistician/publicist wanting confirmation that the Aussies won something in the Canadian F-Class Championships to publish to the local paper and neither of us can work out anything from their results listings.

I think the Aussies could offer some assistance in the way of communicating results with us common folk.. ;-)

The international teams consists of 4 F/TR and 4 F Open shooters, not all F Open as the results page indicates.
Australia did win the International match.
The LUM team consists of 4x F/TR OR 4x F Open shooters in each team.

We haven't had much time to update on this site as it was teams matches yesterday and the presentation last night.
Today is a sort of rest day, but many have to recheck and chronograph loads, rezero scopes, foul barrels etc at another range. Many have to do a lot of reloading and other preparation and then this afternoon we have the international meet and greet session back at the range, so we are all pretty busy.

Facebook is always the active source, but.
    Go to the link posted
Click on the LH corner notation
    Click on Thur 10 notation
Click on International team in the RH column
Buggered if I know why the Canuck web site does that.

I think I have a handle on how to navigate the DCRA competition web site:
