G’day all
Was curious to know if there was much experience in using Benchmark line of powders and or 2206H.
I’m running a .223 with a 24” barrel and shoot the Berger 80.5gnFB. I’m currently using 2208 and that is a fine powder, but I’m keen to hear if anyone has experience with 2206H or the Bench Mark powders delivering consistent velocities and performance in .223 with the heavier pils.
Thanks in advance

I use bm2 in 223 with 50 gn bullets, and it works well for that application.
I think I remember trying it with 80 gn bullets, and finding it a bit fast burning compared to other powders for best velocity.
bm2 from memory is slower than bm1, and seems to be similar to imr 3031 in burning rate.

With a 24" barrel, I'd be giving 8208 a look as well. It does ok in my 26" barreled 223.
