Ahh, shit, I misread your post. No its not. As Rod said, it's a fare bit faster than 2208.

I've heard good things about 2206h however I use 46gn of 2208 behind 155.5 bergers in ADI brass which completely fills the case, it may take another 1 or 2 tenths but any more would start to be a compressed load. It's good for 2970fps out of a 30" barrel and it works well enough in my rig so I have not been tempted to experiment too much. I've found that 2208 doesn't meter that well, at least not out of my powder thrower so I've binned it and am going old school with a powder scoop and trickler. A bit slow as I weigh to the kernel but if you have a Zen frame of mind the time flies by.

I'm still using AR 2206, having replenished supplies when ADI cleaned out their last stock. Bugger this modern stuff.

From everything I'm seeing over here in regards to powder, primers and ammunition....things look bleak as of right now. The next I'll say 2-3 years at a minimum are going to be rough!

You can find stuff here and there at what I would say are normal retail prices but it's totally by luck.

Yes we can now only buy 1# bottles of powder. No 8# jugs....and that's if they have it.

Primers....too me that's the worse right now. I just heard recently that they are no longer taking primer orders period! Even from OEM's. The very few/important orders that are being accepted....try well past a year for delivery dates.

And this is in times of relative peace if any sort of major conflict was to begin I would imagine it would almost certainly shut our sport down with all resources going to the military.

Contrary to what people are saying and or hearing.....I'm going to say the Gov't and Military at least over here are not buying everything up like the rumors are going and or everything is going to them.

Just last week and another couple of examples going back to November I know three different military groups that are short and or cannot get ammo. I know one example is for testing....they where quoted 18 months to get primers for a manufacturer. So everything is not going to the military per say.

Toilet paper 2.0 , unbelievable to think of the volume being distributed at the moment, I do wonder how much is being shot vs stored though?
