#1 Postby JAMMD » Tue Apr 20, 2021 10:49 am

Hi all,
Does any of our members here have some info on different stock makers here in Oz, looking to do 2x Omarks, 1x 308 and 1x 6mm BR, 3" flat fore-end parallal with rear of stock/heal.

Many thanks in advance

Best bet is to contact Matt Paroz or one of the other gunsmiths who posts on here - there's a couple of decent locally made options but they don't necessarily advertise but guys like Matt have their details. Ken Noye stocks are quite decent and there's a new option up in far North Qld who make a good laminated stock.

I recently had a stock custom built by Geoff at JAG Precision Rifle Stocks.
Quality workmanship, great to deal with..

Cheers

Look up RV custom rifle stocks (Robert Valeri, based in Griffith NSW) on Facebook.
Darren Bradley has bedded a few f class rifles into them and they are very nice.
I have one made up as a light fly weight rifle and it’s a nice stock.

I’ve also had a Ken Noye stock which was bedded and inletted by Darren Bradley and was a very good stock for the price.

The stock above will only be supplied as a flat top blank and will need to be inletted by your gunsmith of course.

+1 for Ken Noye Stocks. We've got a couple of them and they're a pleasure to shoot.

On my second order from Geoff.
He is a shooter too, so understands what “we” want.
Cant recommend highly enough.
