300 wsm load data

#1 Postby Bradleytyrrell » Wed Jan 12, 2022 1:25 pm

Hi all I'm trying to find some information on load data for a 300 wsm with 210 btlr and 2225 power if anyone has tried this combination or can give me some details on a starting charge. My overall length is 3.125 inches so I have full case volume I've already tried 2217 powder which I hit pressure early then I tried 2213sc and got pressure at a low charge I have fou d a load with rl22 but unfortunately cannot find any more available atm so am interested in trying 2225 thanks any information would be much appreciated thanks

I would suggest 2225 is too slow. I run RL23 but have dabbled in 2213sc and had no issue running up 66.5gr which started to get a little crunchy when seating, but was otherwise fine. This was with Norma brass, Berger 215gr hybrids and a Borden action.

Same as willow, though I only use 2213 sc.

Checkout Rogee Productions on YouTube, NZ long range hunter running 300wsm. Seems successful with 300 wsm running 200gr+ projectiles. Also on Instagram.

I shoot a 300WSM heavy gun and can confirm 2213sc is a perfect match for 215gn pills and I certainly would never go to any slower powder with this combination.
