#1 Postby carlread308 » Mon Apr 25, 2022 1:23 pm

Hi everyone, just wondering what is a good load for rem 223, currently using 24.7 of 2208, does anyone have any recommendations. Thanks Carl. Sorry, 80 grain berger or sierra ,depending what I can get.

There is a lengthy discussion on 223 loads last year under the heading "80 gn 223 velocity". This may help.

ATM I am using 24.5 g of 2208 in a RP case CCI400 primer and a Berger 80g VLD for 2717fps while it is slow it is accurate.
If I were you I would check out tom1 suggestion.

Cheers
