Ftr rifle
Is there anyone out there that would be interested in swapping a F class open rifle in excellent condition for a ftr rifle? It's a Bat action dual port in 284, ken noye stock, I have realised I don't have the budget to buy all the accessories to use it to its full potential. I can pm photos to genuinely interested people. Please no harsh comments as I know I bit off more than I could chew. I would do a clean swap if needed.
Re: Ftr rifle
Hey Tim
You can just change your Barrel to 308w and I think you would be good to go.
The finished weight of an FTR Rifle with Bipod is 8.25 kg.
Most people use a barrel 28-30 inches long ,weight around 3 - 3.3kg
I am assuming that you have not added weight to your stock.
If you require any further information please contact me on zero four 08 676 two 67
Cheers

Re: Ftr rifle
If you want to convert your open gun to an FTR rifle unscrew your barrel and weigh the stock, action, scope and bipod. If you don't have 3.5-4kg spare, then what you have will be very hard to convert. The stock is the key here, too heavy and you either have to butcher it or sell it. If the weight of the rifle is too far forward or rearward it will be hard to shoot well. Good luck with it.
