Ive heard things are going well for you up there and did wellat the 700yds today (I have spies on the range). Gotta beware the Cairns Rifle Club shooter Dave McNamara by the look of it though, breeds good shooters that club does. I hear Michele Knudesen had a scope failure right at the start of the Queens. Any more up to date gossip?

Rod, you got spies everywhere
Some good shooters up here. Conditions very tricky at times. Great Queensland weather as per usual.
Andrew P is lurking as he always does. He handles the longs well. Tomorrow is the real test, double 800mtrs to finish.
Pete S did not make it this year...pity. I couldn't get Marty out of the Captain's seat either.
Barb M is shooting real well in F standard.
See what happens tomorrow......

Thanks Al and Rod. It was a great shoot to win. Tricky conditions. To win with a 60 at the last 800mtr range was a great feeling.
Kelvin certainly supports a lot of shoots. He won a barrel at the Raglan shoot on the way up to Mackay so he is quite pleased with that effort. I will present him with a plastic spoon at the next shoot for his support to the shooting community. He is making the most of retirement and I hope we can do the same. May have to ask him for sponsorship
