Where to get a WSSM/RSAUM stuck case remover.

Post by RDavies »

Now that I will be using a WSSM case and others are already using RSAUM cases, it might be a good idea to get a stuck case remover to suit the bigger bolt face. Does anyone know who makes these?

I was thinking that every club has a 223 and 308 stuck case remover, but it will be a bit of a head ache if someone sticks a big case while on the mound at a big shoot.

rod,
as an interim measure perhaps a long series drill, a set of ezyouts, and a pair of needlenosed vicegrips might help.

I was after one of those slide hammer jobs to pull out loaded rounds when the extractor slips off the rim, not so much for when the case separates.

My new 6.5 OBR (obese BR) will be out soon. Otherwise known as a 6.5 WSSM, a necked up 25WSSM. It looks like a 6BR after being married for 10 years. It is balisticly the same as a 260AI with the bling factor (very important) of a short fat case.

A lot of others down South are switching to the longer RSAUM cases, so a few stuck case removers around might be handy as clubs wont have them on hand.
