It seems the Bald Eagles webmaster is a part-timer (sounds familiar doesn't it? ). Anyway, I heard that Larry Bartholome won F-Open, and Trudy Fay F/TR - both from the USA. Congratulations to them. It'll be interesting to see how Daryl Barlow figured in the final standings. When the results are available they'll be HERE.

Next event is the big one, the US Open with 4 solid days of 1000yd shoots  . It has been quite a controversial decision over there. The distances have been a mixture of 600 and 1000 shoots until this year. Will be interesting to see if they keep the format for 2013 (if they do it'll be very good practice for the FCWC, which has 800, 900 and 1000 yd distances). Monday (overnight our time) is a practice day, then 2 days individual, Thursday teams, and last individual day Friday. The US Open results will be HERE.

look at the colour of the gun front our right.
we know that guy's name.
so much for those who said oz would never shoot internationally.
this successful pioneering effort has done much to create interest which only looks like growing.
this will create serious competition to get in teams. all the better.
it could be said that this (in conjunction with the intro of ftr) is the beginning of the next era in the australian fclass story.
keep safe,
bruce.

WOW!!! Oz F T/R is now an international force even before its established a large base of domestic F T/R shooters! The team went over for a reccy of Raton and came back with bronze. Congrats to the team on a really great effort and top result.

We have just finished the first day of the F Class Nationals today with 3x 15 shot matches at 1000yds. The wind was not as strong as some previous days but in typical Raton fashion, it was switchy and tricky, with some wierd verticals that even had Marks tackholing 284 giving high and low 8s. I,m not sure of exact numbers but I think it is around 200 F Class shooters here, with about 100 of them in F Open and nearly 100 in F/TR.
