Here are some unconfirmed Day 1 Agg scores from The Hunt.

F-Open:

Mark Tyler 173?

Richard Braund 172?

Simon Plush 171?

F/TR:

Mike Willment 177?

Rod Mahon 171?

F-Standard:

Malcolm Hill 172?

Rob Halloran 171?

Unsure of X counts.

Looks like Mike Willment is continuing on where he left off at the recent World Champs.

No doubt someone will post a more detailed score card in due course.

willment continues his dynamic snowball advance with the funny gun.
stiller 2 lug with a mag cutout, and mag removed.
makes you wonder just how far you need to go with actions.
the thing is obviously true, well fitted, well made, and well bedded, but lacks the stiffness of a no mag action.
it has always just downright been a good shooter, in all of its iterations.
keep safe,
bruce.

If Mike keeps going he could win himself another 2 lugger.

willment's name is plugger,
he really is a slugger,
by hell he is a bugger,
with his stiller 2 lugger.

Some photos below from JenniH as a bit of a teaser.
She mentioned having 9-11 minutes of wind on at 900 today
Could Bruce have actually been telling the partial truth about Lower Light....
Image
Peter Drews board saw similar mayhem at 900

as did the mound next door

Hopefully we will get some Leader Board shots later tonite, as these photos were probably taken with 2 or 3 shooters still to go.

Conditions

Post by bartman007 »

Looks like it was a nice sunny day today in the South of Aus.

The flags have just a little wind on them, and pointing down the range a bit to help the projectiles along.

So why was there a few 2's, 3's, 4' etc?

Geez guys, I wish I was there :P

By all accounts the knives were out today at Lower Light AKA “House of Pain” and points were dropped left right and center.

I am told conditions were quite variable at times with sudden directional changes at speed causing some to bleed more than others.

The eventual outcome of The Hunt's chaotic weather was:

F-Open:

Richard Braund: 340.19

Mark Tyler: 338.23

Simon Plush: 334.15

F/TR:

Mike Willment: 340.20

Barry Southern: 337.8

Rod Mahon: 335.16

F-Standard “A”

Noel Osborn: 334.8

G.Auhl: 330.11

Malcolm Hill: 329.8

F-Standard “B”

T.Gee 323.15

Bill Freebairn: 314.6

G.Christie: 306.8

These are scores given to me over the phone and read off the board therefore are unofficial.
Please excuse any errors that may have been made.

Hopefully Tony “Ecomeat” can post another pic of the score board for our perusal?

Keep em coming, Hangfire !! The more perspectives, the better if possible......and it doesnt necessarily have to be the whole truth
I am copying these over from Jenni H's Facebook page, coz she and i are similarly computer "illiterate", and she only has a fancy smart phone thingamy jig.
Anyone else besides Hangfire with spies on the ground is encouraged to add to this blog at every opportunity. The more input, the more entertaining and interesting it will be, so dont be shy
