Blown primers

Hi just wondering why im starting to blow primers, using cci 400 , didnt have the same problem with br4 primers , is my load to hot or just soft primers?

New cases of a different manufacturer? New powder batch? Seating further into lands? Any other information you can think of?

More info needed, Tikka model, pictures of "blown" primers, bullet weight, would all help!!!

As far as I know,the Br4 primers have thicker metal in the body compared to the CCI 400’s,25 thousand of an inch to 20 thousand of an inch.To me,the term blow primers means primer pockets expanded in the cartridge case and primers falling out.Is this happening ? or are you getting blanked or pierced primers.

From your limited information, pierced primers are generally an indication that your loads are too hot/ or too hot for that particular primer...
