They were doing that more or less with Martini Henrys & Lee prototypes around the rurn of the 20th century - all except the remote button.
Wonder what skill is needed to connect with the round before it fouls on the near side, if at all?

Or I could just use an old 303 take the spring out of the magazine, and turn it sideways gangsta style. Now there is a money maker.
I suppose with electronic targets we might start seeing these things on the line soon.
