Windage adjustment

Post by Blues »

I am new to F class and have seen a target diagram for windage adjustment that shows MoA to centre from each ring. I’m wondering if anyone has a diagram/s they would be willing to share?

Hi Blues. The Mosman Neutral Bay Rifle Club has a full set of Scorecards which includes accurate diagrams of the scoring rings for each Range. The squares marked on the diagrams are 1 Minute of Angle (MOA) which then let you easily figure out how much to move towards the centre. Download the ICFRA Scorecards for each range which are the ones used by the NRAA.
There's also a basic Rule of Thumb which is that each Bull's Eye at all the ranges is approx. 2 MOA from one side to another. The 6 ring is 1 MOA wide.
E.g. If you are on the edge of the Bull Line (the Five line) its 1 MOA the the centre.
If you are on the edge of the 6 line then its 1/2 MOA to the centre.
The 2 MOA rule is not exact for each range but so close it barely matters. E.g. at 500 yds the 6 ring is exactly 1 MOA wide. At 600yds the 6 ring is 0.95 MOA wide.

If you do a google search for “ICFRA plot sheets” you’ll find plenty of choices.
