Must be interesting conditions at Campbell Town today for the finish of the Davis. Cheryle Dolman took out 900 in FO with 49.2. Rod Mahon FTR with 48.1. Darryl Stehbens 52.2 in F Std was the only score over 50. TR crowd are also copping a flogging. I eagerly await the 1000 results.

It was a great feeling to get my first queens win thats for sure, I was lucky enough to get a bit of a lead early on the first day which helped a lot!!

It was by no means an easy weekend for anyone with campbell town living up to its reputation with tricky breezes switching from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock all day everyday of the queens

Congrats to Susie Ryan on winning F standard closely followed by Bob Pederson,
Garry Hunt scored his first queens badge winning FTR with Rod Mahon only 3 points behind
Well done also to fellow Tasmanian John Collis who kept me looking over my shoulder as the days went on

Great to see that Gazza has had a win in F/TR. I believe he was probably running heavier projectiles than most F-Open shooters It is a move that paid off!

That Suzie Ryan has had another win in F-STD, great to see a sheila doing well and knocking off some top shooters.

Nathan, can you tell us a bit about calibre, projectile and rifle etc.?

I was using a barnard with a dasher barrel screwed in for the morning ranges when it was a bit calmer and a shehane for the afternoons, the dasher is running 105 hybrids jumped .005 in front of 36.4 gr of 2209 and a 450 primer and for the shehane I'm using 55.7gr of 2213sc, BR-2 primers and 180vlds jammed .010
Other calibers in open from memory were a few 6.5x47s, a 7mm saum and a 6.5x55

Thanks Nathan. Good choices of calibre etc. If you haven't already, then you should also try 2209 powder in the Shehane - its the most popular in the 284 variants. My mainstay is neither 2209 or 2213, its N165, and have also tried RL-22 and 2217. How are your primer pockets holding up?

Primer pockets are alright, I've been running around the 2860fps area and i haven't got any primers falling out or leaking yet
