Appologies Brendan,I read you post as though you were heading over West on a trip.

Now that you are already here.... :D

An upcoming event I can recommend, would be Yarloop in August.

If I can help with any other details, please let me know.

A couple of our club members shoot at Swanbourne so I might go down and get the low down from them and maybe have a bang with one of their 338 Lap's.

There are a few clubs at Swanbourne.

I am positive one of them will make you both feel welcome, and show you the ropes.

Swanbourne Rifle Club has a number of F Class shooters.

If you are NOR you will be in a good location for the new Pinjar range.

Not sure how welcome you'd be with a 338 Lap at Swanbourne unless you took the muzzle brake off, and then I suspect you'd be a source of amusement. We have a couple of them at our range at Chidlow but I really don't like being on the mound next to them when they go off! I believe the WA police are starting to refuse to license them now.
If Chidlow is more convenient to you than Swanbourne, it is shared amongst four clubs, at least two of which cater for F class. My club shoots Sunday afternoon and alternates between service rifle and long range.
