Hi guys with a load of 38.5gn of rl 15 behind 123gn mk cci 450 primer in my 6.5x47 lapua im shooting very tight groups at 100 meters. Can anyone tell me how much i need to come up to be on at 300 meters. Rifle is zeroed at 100m, cheers mick.

Try about 4"

Try 3.5" should be fairly close :)

Hi Edge!

You know the velocity and can look up the BC of the 123rgr MK (G7 = 0.260 from Litz's book). Down load Berger Bullets free ballistic program and you will never have to ask these questions again. The program was written for Berger Bullets by Bryan Litz and is bloody brilliant and you cant even complain about the price.

Hi Raven, tried 3.5 inches and a tad high 3 inches was right on the money, you were right it was close alright, thanks mick.
