I hope to be there.
First time at this range and competing at a match rifle event out to 1200.
I will be shooting in F-Open with my trusty .284win.

I'm a Virgin at this event so be kind to me.......

The good thing about match rifle distances is that everybody gets screwed some time....

Just got back from Corryong after the event. What a great couple of days shooting in sunny mild weather. It was a very well run event with a good turn out. Well done!

I competed in F-Open and was quite happy with my shooting but my equipment needs some attention. As it was my first event of this type I learnt heaps and this will be of great assistance for me in the future. I am no longer a virgin to this format with the 1200 yard distance handing me a good reaming twice! Certainly need to have one single batch of well prepared ammo for the entire event. The NSW F-Class team showed the way it should be done and well done to them.

I have included a couple of photo's that I took on the weekend. One of the F-open / FTR score board and one of the shooting position at 1000 yards.

I have to say hats off to the town of Corryong .

I have been to a few shoots over the years but never one in a small town as friendly as Corryong, from the ladies in the bakery asking how we were shooting every morning, to dinner at the local pub with the Daily Agg board prominently displayed, the caravan park owners asking how we went each day, even the old guy in the barbers/tackle/ammo shop knew about the shoot and wished us well, this small town in country Victoria is a gem.

A big thanks to the organizers of the event, very very well done.

This event is on my must do again list.
