And the two barrels ( one for A and one for B ) were awarded to 1st and 2nd in A grade and the 1st in B grade missed out.
Correct me if I am wrong. Something wrong there?

What I thought happened was that the winners of division 1 (B Pederson) and 2 (S Sharp) each won a barrel , and the overall winner (S Sharp) got first badge?

The final result clearly shows Grading ( not divisions )
Sharp -B grade( but top score overall ) elevated to A grade. Pederson top in A grade but relegated to 2nd --both win barrels. Halloran 2nd in B grade then elevated to 1st in B grade ---badge only.

I see your point Barry.

If you are second, then you shouldn't get a barrel!

So really Sharp won the F Class event, and gets a Barrel.
Pederson gets a 2nd Badge for FA.
Halloran FB 2nd place getter actually gets FB 1st Badge and a Barrel.

And everyone else in FB goes up one rung on the ladder in the Badges.

That sounds fair, sorry Bob :?

Hi Mike,
No! Pederson and Sharp got the barrels, Halloran got a badge only ( no barrel ) otherwise you got it correct.
And everyone else in FA goes down a rung.

In the same comp. -- Queens 3rd stage

Trindall - A Grade --116.06

Halloran - B grade -- 117.05

Halloran did not win A grade over Trindall --why?

Seems like double standards to me.

Based on that, could an entrant in F standard who tops the score of F open be elevated to the number one spot in FO, After all, F open is the pinnacle of the F classes... Isn't it?

2.2.3.6 A Competitor may only enter one Grade or one Class of Competition in any single competition. The following are examples:-
(a) A competitor cannot enter in both a TR Class and an F Class in the same competition.
(b) A competitor cannot enter both F Standard and F Open in the same competition.
(c) A competitor cannot enter in more than one Grade in the same competition.

but a b or c grade tr shooter can win a queens.
if b grade, they would also win the b grade event, which with all other events at a queens, one of the side matches.
(unless they are automatically upgraded, but i don't think that kicks in until their next comp)
keep safe,
bruce.

If 2.2.3.6c is to be upheld, how then can a competitor take prizes from two grades?

What Alan said is correct. Earlier I should have said division one and division two,not A and B grade.Steve, because he fired the highest score of all the F/class standard competitors, rightly was presented with the number one badge, all other prizes were awarded according to the division you were entered in.

When you have a great victory, you are honoured by being raised high. Similar ceremonies happen in many sports. Its better than what happens to the Sydney Hobart winners.
