Muckadilla OPM 3rd and 4th May

Post by plumbs7 »

Yes Muckadilla is on again . Come out and support this great event . Bring a lot of warm clothes and a lot of windage correction !

Myself is defiantly going and maybe a couple of other Dalby club members are going . Also some of the Toowoomba Mob will be there.

Great event and great hospitality ( I've never laughed so hard with Ben p of Munigdai calling the yabby races lol!).
So hope to see u all there ! GS .

Hi , well it 10:20 pm , the car is overladen, not with equipment but with warm clothes ... Brrrrrr. The weather Person has predicted a cold snap .
So I pray for safe travels for all and c u there . If I get time I'll try and give a report or two. I seem to enjoy this task ( a lot of hot air lol), so no probs.

Looking forward to your thorough updates, complete with plenty of photos Mr Sells !
Hopefully there will be good strong fields in all sections.
I know Emile Daniel is likely to keep 'em all honest in F Open again, as he hasn't missed a Muckadilla OPM for many years, and will be shooting a 7mm "something" this year, instead of his 6mmBR or 6.5 x 284.
It's bitterly cold here at Beaudsert where i am, nearly 600 klm to the East of you, with fairly vigorous Westerly winds, so I guess Muckadilla will be "testing". :D

Well done Graham. Any day you can beat Ernie Mace home by two points in F Standard has got to be a good day, but especially in the wind.
Looks like a good even tussle in both Open and Standard, so should be a good interesting day tomorrow for the Agg.
At around 2pm this afternoon the "Willyweather" for Roma Airport was winds at 36 kph with gusts to over 50 kph, so we knew it was going to be challenging further west where you are !
Thanks for the report and photos, and looking forward to a repeat tomorrow night :D

Well home safe ! Congrats for Brian P coming first in f standard and Phil D winning f open with Emile D being edged for second by Phill's better x count.

Me I have no regrets I put everything I had in to it . I was winning f standard by a fair margin all the way up till the final 900 yds . Lucky to walk way with a second !
To put the conditions into context u only have to look at the scores and the names that are attached to them ! Not one possible in f open or standard and only a 59 by Emile D at 800 third down .
The last 900yds was 11 count . That's how bad it was ! There was a little condition there at 900 that was readable if u were lucky ! ( not trying to take away the skill those shooters still had ).

I would like to thank all involved for the running of the shoot . Was very enjoyable !
All I can say is ...if u think u are a brilliant wind reader , Muckerdilla will humble u!! G S God Bless and keep safe !
