Re: Chronograhp best value for money
I have been pretty happy with my magnetospeed v3, so easy to set up and use compared to the light screen chronos.

Ben, I bought mine direct from the company a couple of years back.
I think this arrangement may be different now. I am sure someone will chime in.
Cheers

bugger caps sorry
Re: Chronograhp best value for money
The only problem with this one is because it is clamped on the end of your barrel, I believe you can't get accurate group info as it would change the barrel harmonics. So I would suggest only using it to check speeds and SD etc not used in conjunction with groups.

Re: Chronograhp best value for money
Yeeepppp shot a group of about 3/4 in at 100 while checking with a barrel that would normally do under that at 300. Only difference was the magneto speed mounted on the barrel.
Re: Chronograhp best value for money
I see Litz has had some good results with the LabRadar unit. They cant be far off. If you want accuracy but not attached to the barrel then they are possibly THE unit to use.

Re: Chronograhp best value for money
I think he tested 2 lab radars and they were a bit different from each other? 20fps could make the difference between someone winning the queens and being disqualified

Re: Chronograhp best value for money
Yes though one was for a rat turd thrower and the other was for a 308....
