My deepest sympathies to Julie & family.
What a shock to hear of Cams passing. Cameron & Julie were two of the nicest people you could find
on a rifle range , he was an absolute champion bloke & shooter.
My fondest memories of Cam was when he & I would be stirring up Belly about anything at all, at a Queens somewhere, of course Belly bit quickly so we would amuse ourselves for days, all at Kels expense
I will miss you Cam.
I endorse everyones sentiments --- what a loss

Mark Antony was wrong, especially in Cam's case. What I (we) are remembering are all positives.

As hard as I try, I can't recall a downside to Cam. What you saw was what you got - a fierce competitor who never gave an inch, a cheerful friend even if you only got together for five minutes during a shoot, a competent gun plumber always ready to explain his innovations & critique yours, a loyal team mate and an obviously devoted husband. I know that all the members of the 2015 Queensland F/TR team acknowledge Cam's contribution to its outstanding success albeit that he offered to come on board because he was there with Julie & could help out. It was pure serendipity that he & Kerod melded so well together to coach the shooters.

Yes the Allen's snakes have always been there at the longs and I've enjoyed them greatly! Simple things at stressful times , a smile and some encouragement. It's always been appreciated!

Julie, on behalf of the ozfclass.com community, you can expect a very warm welcome whenever you're ready to make it back to the range.

Really looking forward to seeing you on the range again when your ready Julie, whether your there to shoot or just want to be around your shooting buddies. Maybe even up at NARC! If there's anything I can to do to help make that happen, please let me know.

If your up visiting Des and Iris and feel like a shoot, I always have a spare rifle and rounds ready to go.
