Warrnambool marathon

Post by Daniel »

Is there anyone out there intending to shoot in the Warrnambool marathon this year? I know that expressions of interest were asked for by the 12th, but they might cope with a couple more. For more info, see the flyer in the events calendar section. It'd be good to have some better numbers than last year.
Keep 'em in the middle.
Daniel.

This is a late announcement from the SWDRA - if you can get 3 or 4 shooters (either F-Open or F-Std) from your club, you can enter the Teams event on the Saturday.

STOP PRESS for F Class Shooters
After consultation with Open and F class Standard and open shooters in Portland and central Victoria we have decided to include an F Class Team Shooting event to be run in conjunction with the Marathon Prize Meeting.

A perpetual trophy will be competed for in conjunction with the Marathon Prize Meeting each year by 4 members, “F Class Standard” and “F Class Open” Club Teams.

Rules:
  • Entry into the match will be free, however all entries must be nominated prior to the commencement of shooting.
  • The scoring system will be average and percentage based to arrive at the overall winning team.
  • Teams to comprise 4 F Open members or 4 F standard members or any mix of F class Standard and F class Open members.
  • The four members must comprise a minimum of 3 members from the one club. Terms may include one member from another club.
