Rubbish, mine has done over 2000 and is still winning matches. I think its really a bit more complicated than that as I have noticed no loss of accuracy...
(the throat has worn about 90 thou and the 108s are jumping, same load as 1 yr ago)

One example does not set the standard!! Any 6mm is quite hard on barrels.......fact of life. I have seen the same thing as you are experiencing with 308 barrels where the odd barrel will just go on & on long after it should have died. These barrels however do not mean that 308's have a 6000 + round life. The norm for F Class Std 308 barrels is around 3000 rounds anything over that is a bonus which should be accepted with grace when it happens.....but that does not change the average. 6 X 47 barrels average around 800 to 1200 rounds on average. Fair enough, must be many things, The way the throat wears, whether the shooter used VLDs or boatails or hybrids, etc
I know I tried moving out the bullet to chase the lands and my groups got worse. I did adjust the load but realised that the old load was still shooting better than i can under all but ideal conditions. In other words i am limited more by wind reading and coping with mirage than the inherent accuracy of the rifle. (certainly at short and mid range.)
