Sent you a PM (need your postal address) to send a couple of my 7mm 180 grain VLD Copperhead Bullets to see if it meets your FB/throat length.
Ken @Copperhead Bullets
Just ask Michael Diffird how well they shoot

I was the one who put Michael onto the new 180s. They have similar bearing surface to the 180 hybrids, just very slightly less.

Hey Ken yes they do shoot well im extremely pleased with the Copperheads to answer to Bruce my 284 has a bartlein 8.25 twist Matt Peroz set up the new barrel for me so I trusted his judgement when it came to the new barrel 2 weeks ago I tried Kens copperheads I did do multiple tests in the same session I ended up with a group 1.1 inches wide just 1 slight stray the other 4 on top of each other .3 of an inch high at 600 yds you asked for bearing surface measurement the copperhead has a bearing surface of 0.523 the one i got out of the box, the bullets I used from the base of the case to the bullet ogive was 2.573 a jump of .010 by the way there was a .001 difference between the 180 copperhead base to ogive and the Berger Hybrid the Berger was longer

rod and michael,
thank you for the advice.
if they are similar to the 180 hybrids, they will fit my freebore length and allow a little jump as well.
