Ben,
you can order whatever twist you like mate, simply email cleavers with your request, pay a deposit and your barrel will turn up in 8-12 weeks. I just received my special order 7mm 8.5" tw in 32". still waiting for a reamer but on inspection the finish looks top quality.
Well said Chris, the OP didn't ask for a law lesson, think we have had enough of them lately.
cheers Pete

I have chambered 7 IBI barrels. 6 x 6mm brs and one 223. These have mostly been 26 in HV or M 24 for PRS rifles. All of the barrels have shot .3 Moa and under. Some fitted to custom actions some factory actions. I have not fitted one to an f class rifle. Some customers have ordered custom profiles that cleavers did not have in stock and the turn around has been between 2 and 3 months.

They dial in well with the groove and land diameters are very consistent. I couldn’t say they are better then a cut rifle barrel from a top maker but at the price I think they are a very good buy. PRS shooters tend to fire high volumes so barrel price is an important factor. To a bench rest shooter .3 moa won’t set your world on fire but these groups have not been shot with bench rest rifles.

If you are budget conscious I don’t think you could go wrong. If you want the very best, fork out another $300 and get a cut rifled barrel.

Thanks for the update, Im tossing up between a Medium Hunter contour and the Rem Varmint. I want to have it as a spotlight/hunting barrel so 0.3moa would suit me just fine!

I was going to add that just because this is an Fclass forum we don’t all just shoot Fclass. These barrels are perfect for those other projects or hunting rifles where you really don’t need/want to spend $700-$800 on a barrel blank. With the price difference you have nearly paid for your gunsmithing depending on smith and what you want done. It makes those projects that were on the back burner more financially feasible.

The 223 I chambered was on a pump action and I have still managed sub .5 moa. It is a rem varmit Profile cut to 18inches. The 6BRs achieved under 0.3moa but that really is an inherently accurate cartridge.

There seem to be a few people out there using Swan barrels too, I think he's also in Queensland.
