Interesting info - thanks to you all. So it seems that many people have trouble with the accuracy of the 139s. I definitely want to try the 123s and perhaps the 130 Bergers as well - although the 130s seem to be hard to get at the moment.

I will try the 139s and see how they go, but it sounds like I need to get hold of some 123s as well.

As it turns out, I found a place that has the 130gn Bergers, so I have ordered a bunch. Everyone seems to recommend them for the 6.5x47, so hopefully they work for me too, because I ordered 500 just to make sure that I didn't run out too soon and can't get anymore.

I am shooting 130gr Bergers/38.0gr Rl15/2900fps and getting stunning 5 shot groups with single figure SD. Previously tried 41gr (via drop tube) of 2209 but although groups were good ES was bad. Also shot 123gr Scenars with 2208 and got OK grouping. In my experience 140gr projectiles are just outside of the domain for the 6.5x47L and more suited to the 6.5/284. Rl15 seem to be a dirty powder, certainly more dirty than ADI. Source my projectiles from the States - substantially cheaper than local (NZ).
