Unless they get these fires out on Bells Line of Road I won't be there on Sunday.

The Great Western Hwy is a long way out of my road.

I have a feeling that the current fire and weather conditions are going to conspire against FO "putting on a good show" and getting numbers to your event, I'll be waiting to the last minute, but if we're not able to get there please pass on our (North Sydney RC) apologies to the Bathurst RC.

Yeah, no worries Matt, totally understand.

I've been keeping an eye on events and hoping for some decent rain before the weekend. Last news I saw, things were looking a little better.

Can only hope that the fires are contained and Bells Line of Road is open again by Sunday.

Cheers 8-)

Are there any updates from locals about the fire situation there?

You will have no problem getting to Bathurst via Great Western Hwy just takes longer than Bells Line. Rod if you are coming down note the Putty road is closed as well.

Looks like Bells LoR won't be re-opened by tomorrow, but talking to a couple of guys down from the north coast today and they reckon it's only 15mins extra to the Great Western Hwy and it's a faster run these days than Bells anyway.

Personally, I haven't used Bells Line of Road for 30 years, since they added all the speed restrictions to Bells and improved the run along the GWH.

Weather forcast for Bathurst tomorrow is sunny, so hope y'all can make it.

Well, just got home from our OPM and although I was in the butts all day I believe everything went smoothly, (it must have... I don't get home this early from our Saturday club shoots), weather was mostly sunny but I think our wind kept everyone on their toes. ;-)

Thanks to all that could make it there, hope you all enjoyed the day.

Cheers,
Graham

Sorry Andrew, didn't get a good look at the board yesterday and I've been away to Goulburn and back today so haven't had a chance to get the official results.
Will post them here and get them to John at NSWFClass as soon as I get them.
Meantime, I THINK....
Ben Ferrara, North Sydney took out the FOpen agg.
Brett Bond, Lyndhurst the FSA agg.
Bruce Rowlands, Lyndhurst the FSB agg.
and ummmm, damn I'll be in strife if I get this wrong....
Kathryn Kent, Lyndhurst TRA agg.
...can't remember any more than that.
Will post official results ASAP.
