Bruce,

In F-Class, its your score that needs to look good. You shouldn't be stressing about your back end. :D

SO how much would I pay for a second hand barnard . stole or other type of action & where do I find one ..??? . I want to build one good open class rifle in 6.5x47 . my last one was built on a omark which shot extremely good so if all else fails that's the way I will have to go again . SO who has all the good actions & how much

Jerry,

Id start looking on used guns mate. If I was you, Id look at buying a rifle already in that cal and build from there. You can find 2nd hand FO rigs for sale every now and then. I got my rifle off used guns and I have made it how it needs to be for this years WARA Queens. Next year it will have a 7mm barrel on it aswell.

Gday jerry, both my 6 and 7mm are rem 700 actions and work very well I dont see the advantage of a $1800 action.a $5000 dollar action with bad ammo isnt gonna hit more X's

this being a target shooting forum I am totally surprised no-one knows what l/n stands for  . ANYWAY seems I don't have $1,400 plus to spend just on a action ect I decided to buy a complete -- loyd nelson - rifle so I can later on use the action & nice stock that came with it , MAY not be up to some peoples standards but considering my old omark has beatin a few so called high tech rifles built on much more expencive action I reckon it should do me . thanks to those who gave me some help on here .

Not long ago a shooter at our club put a new krieger onto a neilson action and shot a 60.10 at 500m. I dont think it will hold you back.
