Alan,
I will have a chat to my folks when it gets closer to see if they can do some baby sitting on the Saturday for me. I would love to give F/TR some support.
Are you able to use multiple rifles in an OPM?

Seddo,
You can use multiple rifles, but unless you have a gear failure, you cannot change during an "application" i.e. a range shoot.

Hi Alan,
Just wondering about the 3 person Teams event.
Can we pick anyone to make up our team, or is it restricted to same club members?
And what range are you planning to have us shoot this over ? 1000 yards

Mike,
The teams event is not coached, and is not a separate event I'm afraid. Its simply putting all shooters into 3 person groups, and the group with highest total day 2 agg wins - usually a bottle of wine each. You'll probably be a bit coached out after winning Tassie - so you can have relaxing couple of days!

So it's the usual randomly selected teams then. What's the wine like, is it worth slipping you a few $ to get into a good team
I hope to be there for both days this year if the lawn is not too long after the trip down under.

A very good OPM. Well run and a variety of conditions. The dreaded Rosedale wind was kind to us for most of the shoot although 700 and 100 yards were challenging.
The organisers of the event are to be congratulated.
I'm sure Alan will post details of the results soon. Congratulations to him on his win in F-Open.

Yes it was a good meeting - numbers were better than usual, partly because we had the Vic Vets event on the Friday. Despite the fact that F/TR is here to stay, its still getting off the ground in our neck of the woods. Jenni Hausler wasn't able to shoot F/TR (rifle unvailable) so she took her frustations out on FO with a borrowed 7mm and was looking unstoppable until we conjured up some typical Rosedale conditions just as she got down at 1000

Well done Alan,
Looks like it was a great tussle at the top. I believe the 7mm Jenni used is actually Merko's. It is his BR rig. Everytime he brings it out I claim sickness and run home.

Well done to Rosedale club for a well run event.The 1000Y was a bit interesting with the wind.And to sit and watch some of the top shooters in the country shoot over the weekend was a education in howe it is done.

Well done Alan and Jenni. Looks to be a good shoot- well done to the organisers.
Also congrats to Barry in F/TR, Peter, Cliff and Brian in TR and Paul and Alan in FS.
Impressive turnout by F class shooters.

Well done to Alan and the crew, it was a fun match form my point of view.
I had a few firsts yesterday as well. First OPM, First 800y, 900y and 1000y targets.
I learnt that my ammo didnt like 900 & 1000y. I had 2 unexplained shots at 900 and 6-7 at 1000 and all i can put it down to is projies going trans-sonic as they shoot really well from 300y & 800y.
