Well the Ipswich open has been won and run. This is the second time that I have competed in it and it is without doubt one of my favourite prize meetings to attend. This year seems to have taken on a rather different flair, well amoungst a few F Open shooters anyway. We'll get to the results in a minute.

As you can see there is a serious discussion between a few of the top F Open shooters. (Yes that is Cam) Now normally you would think that this would be about the latest in projectile ballistics or other testosterone pursuits. But no.......

No, no , no. The hot topic of the day was shoes, and fashion on the range. I have to admit this was not a topic that I thought I would have heard coming out of the shooters pictured.......but different strokes for different fokes.

Congratulations to all the winners and well done to everyone involved in organising and competing. I believe there were 84 shooters!!!???

It was a beautiful day and as usual, it was great to catch up with good people.

I see my little girl is going to be right at home at the range in the future. If grown men are talking about shoes now Im sure its going to be perfect for her in 15 years time...

Just a correction to the results.
I got a 57.4 for the 800m , this means that Brian pickles took out FS-a for the day. Good on ya Brian

Will edit the result. I scored for Brian for the day and the last 800 was a fantastic to watch.
