Yeah, sorry Jason. Thats out of my control, though it looks like we may have it next year and possibly FTR in the weekly club shoots too.
........... but it will be a great weekend none the less, you should still come, if anything to hand it to us F-Open boys and show how REAL MEN shoot.

Dennis, totally understand the change issue, it been my cheese grater for over a year now, def wearing me down.
I have a submission into QRA/NRAA at the moment proposing a FTR open teams match that will run alongside next years national teams, a couple of international teams have expressed interest, and the question was asked by one int. captain if Fopen would do the same.
I might come up and play Fopen Inshould have my wife's 6BR setup by then, and maybe a 284.

Range is looking good. Rallying a few of the Bundy boys for the event. Should be able to get 4 or 5 down.
Great shoot the other weekend with 600 and modified 700/600 ranges.
Cheers
Andrew

G'day All,
There's been a slight change to the flyer. We are now having a catered dinner on Saturday night. See the link for the amended flyer.

G'day All,
One of our club members David J has been really proactive in assisting new shooters/members and would like to see them get involved in the OPM using their current practical style rifles despite their equipment not being quite as ideal or accurate as LR target specific stuff. Off his own back, David has generously put up some prize money and awards to encourage them and others to join in.
Please share this information with other club members that you think may be interested.
David has asked me to post the following.
Another late addition to the NARC OPM program is a restricted FTR comp for our new shooters (and anyone else who might want to join in). This year NARC has had an influx of new shooters who have turned up to compete in FO with their .308 and .223 repeaters. Since FO is already well catered for and of a much higher equipment standard and skill level, we are offering these new shooters their own sub-comp complete with trophies and prize money. Rifles must be FTR SSR compliant but with the added restrictions of a barrel length of 26" max., folding bipods (eg Harris, Atlas style), and repeater actions (though single round loading only).
Prizes will be awarded for the two day agg as follows:
1st prize, Trophy Shield + $60
2nd prize, Silver Medallion + $40
3rd prize, Bronze Medallion + $20

Ok ,, I've got my 28" barrel back in . Don't know if it will help much being north arm and all? Can't wait to duel with my nemesis again. Only he's been shooting very well( will be hard to beat but he is beatable !) have to keep positive !
Looking forward to catching up with everyone , only about 4 weeks to go now !

Just read Dennis last post, it's great to see a step forward for another discipline, just a damn shame that I can't compete in FTR with my gear.

It's on this weekend everybody.....
Catered sit down dinner Saturday night, lots of range wind, hot wind, solid gold, silver and bronze medallions too to mark the occasion.
Be there because I doubt you'll make the next NARC centenary OPM.
