Hi Frank, How did the testing of the Sierras go? Anything to share? I have a 1: 8.5 twist so I'm hoping it will be enough.

Haven't shot them yet! Still hoping to do it any day right now. Suppose to be like 54 degrees F tomorrow. About 30 degrees above our normal right now. I'm just trying to cram everything in and the holidays are upon us to and I'm strugging. As soon as I do I'll make a post though!
I did talk to one of our customers yesterday. He did shoot some of the early/preproduction 183's thru his gun at the Nationals and said they shot really well. His barrel was a 1-8.75 twist that we make him. He told me some of the other guys have shot them thru a cut rifled 1-9 twist and they shot fine but the button barrels where the twist was coming out slower than 1-9 had problems.
So right now looking promising! Will keep you posted.
Later, Frank

I let Dave here at the shop take my gun out and shoot it. He forgot to adjust for parallax and only ran the scope on 10x but he managed groups in the .250" to .500" range with no problems. So I'll load up some more ammo and shoot it maybe this weekend but everything looked promising!
