Being having troubles with the 280 Ai and cci's . But I believe it's more a reloading issue ( being my fault , not the primer's ) . Definitely work better than the Fed 210's with beautiful waterline!

There are a number of threads about the place in recent time denigrating CCI primer, but in all instances with sketchy information.
Perhaps it might be worthwhile to do some comparitive measurements of current issue primers compared to older ones, likewise from brand to brand.
There's always the possibility that seating technique isn't optimal for the primer.

I was watching one of your video's shooting and you had some misfires,in my opinion you were rather hasty in re cocking the bolt, rule 3.5.6.(a) covers this event.
Mike.

I am using CCI small primers and am having a failure to fire at least one in fifty sometimes more. I do not have the batch number so I am now using Remington.
