You have the paperwork, customs know what they are doing, it is straight forward.

When traveling in a team, you have a manager. The manager thanks care of booking hire cars, accommodation, etc.

Let's not forget that Western Australia was there at the first one at Bendigo & at Canberra. That's a lot of kilometers for them there.

I have some Woodleigh Hydro's you can try. They should be good in the wet.

Yeah its hard Alan - I simply do not know what to do now. No doubt I will spend the next two weeks loading for every rifle I have (including trusty 222) for all these possible combinations of events??

I think the weapon we will all have to really watch out for on the range sounds like that NSW rum tent!!

We should make a list of what's coming, then see what performs the best. That way we'll all know for the future. That's my scientific method for working out what to try next

In search of that one magic round that shoots straight no matter the conditions.

Some advice to the other states:

I've just had a thought, Silicone spray should keep the rain/moisture off the projectiles. Or give the projies a good waxing, just like you do your car.

It is a good time to try something new, I recommend you give it a go

our team will be using the old orange box hunting thin jackets.
they have proven accurate, and give 50 fps higher speed than current target bergers for similar pressure.
same load gives less speed, but +0.5 gn is just right.

Certainly can't see any snow on the mountains from here but Mackay is 10 hours south so could be a whole different world down there.
Also not sure about earthquakes but with all the mining going on west of Mackay we may well get some blasting tremors - I suspect none of it will compare to the ground shaking sonic booms from all those 7mmWSM's coming up from SA though!!

Not sure if the extra weight will help Bartman - I suggest you investigate some sort of spring dampening system to separate front bag from the moving ground rather than clamping yourself harder to it!
