Have fun, from Rod

It was good to catch up with you yesterday. I couldnt chat much due to the ten new shooters needing assistance. When I get to the range next (whenever that is) I will bring along some more toys for you to play with. Anyhow, it looks like your308 does the job at 500yds from what I saw yesterday.
Have fun.

Yeah I think those guys had a great day, the one with the Weatherby eye brow definately went home with a story to tell
It got him real good!
Interesting way to spend a bucks party hey?

Gee's that heat & humidity makes it hard to concentrate/focus, horrible conditions & a fishtail wind to contend with as well.
I did find that my 168Gr Amax load was a little less affected than the 155 SMK's I think.

tip:
When you get to Ratton, take notice of the number on the wooden peg infront of you on the mound

I was lined up to score your first set for you (which you declined being scored) but when those first two didn't show up on the monitor I started thinking....Do I really want to be taking tips from this guy

Cheers Bloke.
C ya on the mound, Mick.

Oh yes. The 1st 2 sighters on 2 wrong targets is a tactic us experienced shooters use, I will explain it to you in private some time.
Be gentle, it was my first shots in 3 months and I had an itchy trigger finger.
As you saw, there was a reason I didnt want the scores added up, to save the embarresment.

I have a few of these cunning tactics up my sleeve too e.g. leaving the bolt at home, using an unprimed round. As Rod says, it comes with experience...

Sounds like our conversation today rubbed off Rod. LOL

Rod is just using a new form of team tactics. ;) We heard it works quite well in the USA.

 Whilst having not done it myself I have noticed that forgetting to put powder in the case works well as one of these special tactics too.

Wow an old post ! Hope Mick ur still going on in F class. I pretty much started with the same gun . I too got into the sport for that lr H word . But times have changed for me and punch paper instead ! I would still limit my shots out to 500 though regardless !

As a sport we need to welcome hunters that want to hunt way out there! As there prime purpose is to get an x first sighter. This is what makes them a potential good f classer . As for the H word ! No comment !

Regards Graham.
