Yes again another thing I plan to do. The in laws live in Perth and only a few minutes from Swanbourne so makes a good weekend to let them get some time with their grand daughter.

Swanbourne is a great open range that really lets the wind through, where my local and the next closest one are both built into tree plantations and you rarely have to wind on any windage.

Coming from a TR background and like many chaning to F Class due to injury & eyesight, I am finding F Class provided more of a challange due in part to the Super V size but the constant reminder of what the wind is doing through the scope. I have found it very easy to neglect the mirage and concenrate on the flags - bad idea, every time I take this approach it seems to cost me.
Our club if is in fortunate position of having a couple of very good wind coaches and yes one has made the transition from TR to F Class the other still shoots TR, though it seems that taking onboard the comment from others we too do not spend enough time at club level being coached. This is something that we do need to address, as I suspect that most clubs also need to do.
What I have determined is that wind reading is not a black art but a learned skill, that by tutition from within our own clubs we can all improve on.
