re the hBN, ws2 and mos2- technical/ friction coefficient comparisons.

Just back from Brisbane and saw this post for a quick comment on chronos. I have a PVM and magnetospeed (and others). I will not say conclusively that the magnetospedd does or doesn't affect grouping and vibrations but it certainly seems to have very little effect. I think this is for two reasons. firstly the centre of gravity is below the rifle barrel and more in line with the true cg of the rifle so it changes that aspect very little. secondly it is light and connected with a rubber mat that would dampen any effects. So far all rifles I have clamped it on shoot just as well with it on and off (BUT qualify that this is not conclusive evidence.) I have heard similar feedback from every person I know that owns one (also not conclusive but anecdotally starting to carry some weight).
On the PVM I have one (and have owned a few other brands as well) - it is a brilliant machine with lots of infrared sensors and quality gear. It is for sale if anyone wants it

Hi Shaun.
To fund the upcoming US trip and I am happy enough with the Magnetospeed (very portable for me to take over as well.)
Both are great so it is like choosing which arm you have to chop off.

Thanks Dave. That appears to imply higher lubricity for 90nm MoS2 than for 70nm hBN. Which is in line with my testing.

6x47L works very well at over 3200 with 105 vld.
I run two 6x47 barrels chrony on last rechamber by Matt Paroz who witnessed chrony test goes 3211 average, sd & es both single digit.
As you say you will need to treat barrels as a cosumable, rechamber @ 800-900 rnds.
Ben,
