One of our members has a Paroz Barnard 280AI with Bartlein barrel and new RWS brass and its a real hammer. But I am pretty sure it would do just as well chambered for one of the other cartridges if you were in the same node. And give you a similar barrel life....

Hi All,
This is going a little off track, I have a 280 AI that Matt Paroz built and I am more than happy with it.
I am only running it around 2850 with 180s with approx 600 rounds through it the thing shoots way better than i can.
Just to upset the OCD types I haven't changed my seating depth since the first loads
Phil D from sydney also has one that Matt built and it is very consistant.
I'm having a go at a saum but if that doesn't go well I will go with another 280 AI

Tim I have been interested in the 280ai for a while and was very impressed how well you used yours at Canberra. That's the great thing about F Open. So many options.
