I have the following:
Lapua brass, CCI BR2 primers, ADI 2208 powder and 155grain Sierra projectiles. All shot out of a 30 inch barrel.

I am currently using 46g of 2208 with about 8thou jump and I neck as far down the neck as possible for additional pressure.
The above load works well, but I want more please sir.

Would pushing the load to 46.5 with a compressed seating depth of 10 to 15 thou be too risky? Even if I brought up the necking depth to about half way to reduce pressure

If it helps, I use a redding S Type bushing neck die with a .334 bush.

I would say that that is a reasonably hot load as it is.

Does it shoot well now? and if so at what ranges?

U should try them with a 0.005" JAM on your current load and compare them. I have found that the Sierra's prefer a JAM in my rifle. Needless to say that I have negligible runout.

Size your neck as previous. Change one thing at a time so u know what is happening!

I use the same list of components as you and with a Kreiger 30" and with a 5 thou Jam and 45.5gr of 2208 I am getting a muzzle velocity of 2985fps. That is hot enough for me, produces a 20mm group at 300yards (rested). I do want my barrel and cases to last as well.
Have recently changed load to 45.3gr of 2208 and set the Sierra155's to give a 15 thou jump to try and even out the velocity spread, but also having good velocity for 1000yards. I haven't checked this over a good quality chronograph or a rest yet but had very good "slinged" results since the change.

Also worth pointing out is both my fullbore rifles shoot just as tight with a load of 44.5gr 2208 at 2930fps m.v. at 300 to 600. Trouble is keeping different loads separate. There is always a small chance of getting them mixed up. One grain different at 700yards plus will give you a 4.
